Join us on Saturday, September 6 from 2:00pm - 5:00pm for an afternoon of art in the mountains!
If you’ve ventured out on hikes recently, you might have noticed the first hints of autumn appearing in the changing foliage and the tips of larch needles. Embrace this seasonal shift and bright fall colours by joining Glowing Golden Larches, an outdoor acrylic painting workshop on the Hummingbird Lodge patio.
Join local artist and former Whitewater Artist in Residence, Abby Wilson, for a workshop exploring painting techniques to get your yellows to glow. You'll learn about negative painting, creating luminosity, and supporting bright colours with careful design! And at the end of the day, you will get to take home your very own painting of Ymir Peak.
With stunning views of Ymir Peak and new colors appearing all around, you’ll find endless inspiration to create your own masterpiece.
What's Included
Registration for Glowing Golden Larches costs $70.00 and includes the following:
• 3 hours of expert instruction, demo, and assistance from Abby Wilson
• All necessary supplies: 8" x 10" canvas, brushes, paint
• A vibrant, supportive atmosphere

Glowing Golden Larches participants must be 13 years of age or older. There will be no refunds for confirmed registrations.
