July 19, 2025

Mark your Calendars
Join us on Saturday, July 19 from 3:00pm - 5:00pm for an afternoon of art in the mountains!
Elevate your artistic skills in a unique hands-on experience with Julia Trutiak, an instructor at Ovo Ceramic Studio in Nelson. In this coiled bowl workshop, you’ll be invited to explore the art of pottery as you create, by the side of a creek, an exquisite bowl entirely by hand.
Under Julia's expert guidance, you’ll learn the techniques of shaping, coiling, and designing the clay to craft your personal bowl. Once your creation is shaped, you will choose a glaze to be applied at Ovo Ceramic Studio. This is a wonderful opportunity to connect with nature, unleash your creativity, and create a beautiful, functional piece of art that carries a touch of the mountains. Don’t miss this chance to combine the therapeutic art of pottery with our inspiring alpine backdrop!
Registration will open on July 4.
